Who it may not be suitable for

It may not be suitable during pregnancy, with some medications or skin conditions, or after recent sun exposure, injury or surgery. A GP's advice may be needed for some conditions.

How often will I need it?
Waxing typically lasts three to six weeks before the hair regrows enough for another appointment.
Most clients rebook every three to six weeks. Letting the hair grow to the right length between visits gives the best result.
What to expect
Before
A quick consultation and a check of the skin and hair length. Hair needs to be long enough for the wax to grip.
During
Warm wax is applied and removed with strips. There is a brief sting as the hair is taken out, and I work as efficiently as I can.
After
The skin looks smooth and may be a little pink. Avoid heat, sun, fragranced products and tight clothing on the area for 24 hours.
